The secret is out.
Rock band Roi and the Secret People, like the name of the entity which inspires the title of their latest single, today continued their ascent toward the top of the Lehigh Valley's music scene with the release of their song "Phoenix."
"Phoenix" is a melodic slow-burner that echoes Into the Great Wide Open-era Tom Petty with a twinge of Elvis Costello, accompanied by lilting piano that rides smoothly underneath a catchy chorus refrain (which, by the way, is tailor-made for waving a lighter, cell phone, or, hell, an iPad, in the air).
(Editor's note: I was kidding about the iPad. Please do not attempt to bring one into a concert. Don't be that person.)
