Area musicians will get a little help from their friends during Lehigh Valley Beatles Showcase concert in Bethlehem

The fifth annual Lehigh Valley Beatles Showcase fundraiser will again turn to local musicians this weekend to celebrate the music of iconic British rock band.

The concert will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem.

Tickets cost $20-$29.

Scheduled performers are: Mike Dugan's Classic Rock Revue, Lou Franco Project, The School of Rock Bank Street Band, Beyond Eden, Erin Kelly Trio, The Lesson Center, Lori Roberts, James Supra, Sarah Ayers, Allie Santos, Connie Edinger and Scott Marshall. (ArtsQuest's website has the full lineup.)

Proceeds from the show will benefit local music scholarships and music programs, according to the site.

The Fab Four are the featured subject of the new Ron Howard documentary The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years.

Musikfest Cafe is inside the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.
