'The State' star Michael Ian Black, guitarist Tab Benoit coming to Musikfest Cafe

Comedian-actor Michael Ian Black and blues guitarist Tab Benoit are among the latest batch of performers announced for Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem.

ArtsQuest also announced in the release the additions of Kashmir: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Tribute and Celtic rockers Carbon Leaf. 

Tickets for all four shows go on sale to the public 10 a.m. Friday through steelstacks.org and by calling 610-332-3378.

Black, a native of New Jersey, is the co-creator of the television series Viva Variety, Stella and Michael and Michael Have Issues. He co-starred in the cult comedy Wet Hot American Summer and reprised his role of McKinley for the Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp. Black has also appeared in the shows Reno 911! and MTV's The State. He currently stars in Comedy Central's Another Period and TV Land's The Jim Gaffigan Show. 

Additionally, Black has released two stand-up comedy albums: I Am a Wonderful Man and Very Famous.

Benoit is the recipient of the 2007 B.B. King Entertainer of the Year award and two-time Best Contemporary Male Performer at the Blues Music Awards. He teamed with songwriter Anders Osborne for his latest studio effort, Medicine.

  • 7:30 p.m. March 11: Tab Benoit; $23-$28
  • 7:30 p.m. April 14: Kashmir The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Tribute; $24-$28
  • 7:30 p.m. April 20: $24-$29
