BLUE JEAN

Blue Jean combines the pop sensibilities of Weezer and Jimmy Eat World with the melodic touch of Spill Canvas and the bright hue of New Found Glory.

Singer-guitarist Chris Hallett and bassist Dustin Schoof formed Blue Jean in 2009. The duo recruited drummer Jordan Hocking in 2020.

The band released their debut album, Goodnight Tonight, in 2011. Blue Jean's sophomore effort, Alchemy, dropped in October 2014. Alchemy spawned the single "All That Ends Well" and features guest vocals from singer Allie Angulo on the tracks "California Fire" and "Far Away."

The group released the digital-only single "Dumb Love" in 2014.

Blue Jean has been featured on WFMZ-TV Channel 69 and on the web series SteelStacks Live!. They have performed at numerous venues throughout the Lehigh Valley, including the historic State Theatre in Easton.

Schoof served as the founding bassist of former Slate Belt-based rock bands Stasis and Suicide Eyes. He is an honorary member of The Deadliners.

Hallett, Blue Jean's principal songwriter, is a founding member of the former bands Drift, Magnum XL and Two Inches of Fury.
