Less than a year after headlining the Great Allentown Fair, English heavy-metal vets Def Leppard will return to sprinkle a few extra drops of sugar on the city.

The group behind such hits as "Pour Some Sugar on Me," "Photograph," "Animal," "Rock of Ages" and "Photograph" on Feb. 17 will rock the PPL Center in Allentown, officials announced Friday in a news release. Styx and Tesla will again open the concert. Show time is 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday through pplcenter.com and at the box office, Seventh and Hamilton streets.

The news comes on the heels of Def Leppard's announcement of their upcoming self-titled studio album, and 11th overall, which drops Oct. 30. The album -- the band's first in seven years -- contains the singles "Let's Go" and "Dangerous."

Def Leppard previously headlined the Great Allentown Fair in 1983, 1999, 2000 and 2003. In 1981, they performed at Lehigh University's Stabler Arena in Bethlehem.

Stxy's popular songs include "Come Sail Away, "Lady," "Mr. Roboto," "Renegade" and "The Grand Illusion." Tesla is best known for their live, acoustic cover of Five Man Electrical Band's "Signs," released in 1990.
