Halloween, if you do not already know (which, this late in the month, you probably should), falls on a Saturday. This Saturday, in fact. Luckily for those who are not party-hopping and want to change it up this weekend, there are plenty of alternative ways to spend Oct. 31 in the Lehigh Valley.

DJ Brad F Scott and DJ Mumbler re-team for an evening of deep, dark, funky, sexy sounds and rhythms during Black & Blue's annual Halloween bash. Music starts 8 p.m. Get weird, get wild. Black & Blue is located at 683 Walnut St., Easton.
Rock solid
Get your rock on with Roi and the Secret People and The Phoenix Bridge, starting 10 p.m. at Pearly Baker's Alehouse, 11 Centre Square, Easton. Two killer bands, one bill. Guaranteed to be a scary good time. Plus, no cover!
'Haunted Illusions'
Magician/illusionist David Caserta brings his annual "Haunted Illusions" show back to the State Theatre. This is a terrific, family-friendly way to spend the holiday, once trick-or-treating is done (obviously). Caserta is touting a slew of new illusions sure to entertain and intrigue. Tickets cost $20, $10 for children. Show time is 7 p.m. There will be a pre-show costume contest in the Easton Hospital Gallery. Information: statetheatre.org
Ready, Freddy
Late horror icon Wes Craven's 1984 genre-defining classic, A Nightmare on Elm Street, will be shown 7:30 p.m. at Civic Theatre in Allentown. Information: civictheatre.com
Time warp
It is just a jump to the left. Then a step to the right. Do the "Time Warp," again," by taking in a screening of the 1975 cult classic/Halloween staple The Rocky Horror Picture Show, 11:30 p.m. at Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Tickets cost $10, $8 for students and seniors and $7.50 for ArtsQuest members. Information: steelstacks.org

Spooky strolls
Moravian Book Shop's annual "Historic Haunts of Downtown Bethlehem" continues this weekend with a special midnight tour of the city's Historic District. Learn about Bethlehem's spookier side. Tickets cost $13, $10 for children under 13. Information: moravianbookshop.com
