Easton's Two Rivers Brewing Company tonight will release a new addition to their "Great Beers for Great Causes" series: "Flowers' Helping Hand IPA."

The beer is named in honor of Suddenly Samantha salon owner Steve Flowers, a longtime advocate of homelessness awareness. One dollar from every pint of beer sold during this evening's release party will be donated to Safe Harbor of Easton.

"Flowers' Helping Hand IPA" is the latest in a series of Two Rivers beers named after Easton celebrities, public figures and places. In October, Two Rivers added the Larry Holmes-inspired "Easton Assassinator" beer to its tap system.

The brewpub also features a beer in honor of former Easton judge James Hogan, called "Hogan's Law." On Dec. 15, Two Rivers will release a stout for famed Easton artist Karl Stirner.

Two Rivers co-owner Troy Reynard sat down Monday to discuss the origin of the "Great Beers for Great Causes" series and "Flowers' Helping Hand IPA."
