Gregg Allman, Billy Gardell heading to Bethlehem

November 30, 2015

Multi-instrumentalist Gregg Allman and comedian Billy Gardell have been added to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center's 2016 lineup, officials announced Monday in a news release.

Allman, a founding member of influential rock group The Allman Brothers Band, is scheduled for 8 p.m. April 2. Tickets cost $35-$55.

Gardell, best known for his portrayal of Officer Mike Biggs on the CBS television series Mike & Molly, is set for 8 p.m. Feb. 27. Tickets cost $35. (Gardell previously headlined the Bethlehem venue in January.)

Following the death of his brother, Duane Allman, in 1971, Gregg Allman embarked on a successful solo career. In 2011, the latter released the critically-acclaimed solo album, Low Country Blues. Gregg Allman was inducted in 1995 with the Allman Brothers Band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Tickets for Gardell go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4. Allman tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Dec. 11. Tickets will be available online through ticketmaster.com and sandseventcenter.com, by calling 800-745-3000 and at the box office, 77 Sands Blvd.
