Duran Duran returning in the spring to Bethlehem

Duran Duran is, apparently, still hungry for Bethlehem.

The 1980s hit-makers behind such MTV staples as "Hungry Like the Wolf" and "Girls on Film" will perform 8 p.m. April 5 at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, officials announced Tuesday in a news release. Tickets, which cost $59.50-$115, go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, through ticketmaster.com and sandseventcenter.com, by calling 800-745-3000 and at the box office, 77 Sands Blvd.

Duran Duran in August headlined Musikfest in Bethlehem.

The band is fronted by singer Simon Le Bon. Duran Duran was at the forefront of the '80s MTV-driven Euro-pop movement, sometimes referred to as the "Second British Invasion." Their other hits include "Rio," "Save a Prayer," "The Reflex" and "The Wild Boys."
