Trouble City All-Stars to open for Snoop Dogg

August 13, 2015

Bethlehem-based reggae group Trouble City All-Stars on Saturday, Aug. 15, will open for Snoop Dogg on the Sands Steel Stage, the band announced Thursday.

The band is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the concert cost $49 and $39; $180 for Steel Terrace seating.

Before kicking off this weekend's Snoop Dogg show, Trouble City All-Stars perform 6:30 tonight on the Plaza Tropical stage. That performance is free.

The addition of Trouble City All-Stars to the main stage lineup marks the fourth such Musikfest concert to include opening acts from the Lehigh Valley. Indie rockers VoirVoir opened for The Flaming Lips during the festival's opening night; guitarist Craig Thatcher and his trio kicked off ZZ Top's Wednesday night concert; Bethlehem-based rock band Eighteenth Hour tonight will open for Collective Soul and 3 Doors Down.

A second opener for Snoop Dogg is listed as "TBA" on Musikfest's website, but has not been announced.
