Steve Miller Band to keep on rocking Bethlehem this fall

Steve Miller Band is boarding that big jet airliner for a November landing in Bethlehem.

The classic rock band -- fronted by singer-guitarist Steve Miller -- is scheduled to headline the Sands Bethlehem Event Center on Nov. 3, officials announced Monday in a news release.

Tickets cost $69.50-$95.

Steve Miller Band's list of hit singles includes "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle," "Take the Money and Run," "Jet Airliner," "Rock'n Me" and "Abracadabra." Steve Miller Band performed a private concert in April 2011 ahead of the opening of the ArtsQuest's SteelStacks complex in Bethlehem and headlined Musikfest later that year.

Sands officials also announced Monday the addition of all-female ensemble Celtic Woman on 8 p.m. Dec. 13. Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets for Celtic Woman cost $60-$79.50.
