Five things to do this weekend in the Lehigh Valley

September 17, 2015

Nothing to see, nowhere to go this weekend? Let me help you with that. Here are five things to do this weekend in the Lehigh Valley:

1.) Cars and coffee

"Cars & Coffee Lehigh Valley" event is 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Sept. 20, at the SteelStacks complex in Bethlehem. Grab a cup of hot java and feast your eyes on even hotter rides, from rare and exotic vehicles to extreme models. Information: steelstacks.org

2.) Meet the artists

Meet the artists behind Civic Theatre's "5 X 5" exhibition 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Theatre514 in Allentown. Information: civictheatre.com

3.) Motown masters

Legends of Motown Tour -- made up of The Jacksons, The Commodores and The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards -- stops 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, 77 Sands Blvd., Bethlehem. Tickets cost $40-$85. Information: sandseventcenter.com

4.) Intimate moments

Sit back, relax and enjoy an intimate outdoor performance by acoustic music duo Janene and The Blue Jay 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Connexions Gallery, 213 Northampton St., Easton.

5.) Guided by the light

Cap the weekend with The Lunar Strays, set to perform 9:30 p.m. Sunday at The Funhouse, 5 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem. Get out, get local.

Bonus pick: The Roux rocks Porters' Pub, 700 Northampton St., Easton, 10 p.m. Saturday. No cover.
