Chikara Pro Wrestling to hold 'Season 16 Catch-Up' in Allentown

Before the action takes place inside of the ring, a handful of professional grapplers will be rubbing elbows with fans in Allentown.

Wrestlers from Chikara Pro Wrestling are scheduled to appear 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, at The Colony Meadery. The guest list includes Chikara wrestling stable The Colony. The stable is made up of Fire Ant, Silver Ant, Soldier Ant and Worker Ant.

Select Chikara matches will be shown during the event, as preview of the independent wrestling organization's upcoming 16th season, according to its Facebook page.

"Chikara Season 16 Catch-Up" is also billed as a pre-game celebration for the World Wrestling Entertainment's annual Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View event, which airs 8 p.m. Sunday.
