Cyndi Lauper, Boy George bringing tour to Bethlehem

Cyndi Lauper is going to have her fun in Bethlehem.

The singer and '80s pop sensation on May 28 will headline the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, officials announced Monday in a news release. Lauper, 62, will be joined by fellow '80s hit-maker Boy George, whose band Culture Club in 2015 headlined Musikfest.

Show time is 8 p.m.

Tickets cost $69.50 to $89.50. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Thursday, March 10, on Lauper's website; 10 a.m. Friday through sandseventcenter.com, ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the box office, 77 Sands Blvd. 

Lauper's hits include "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," "She Bop" and "Time After Time." Culture Club is best known for the songs "Karma Chameleon," "I'll Tumble 4 Ya" and "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me."
