Start Making Sense, a Talking Heads tribute group based out of Bethlehem, will recreate the influential New Wave band's 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense on stage in Bethlehem.

The show will take place 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at Lehigh University's Zoellner Arts Center, 420 E. Packer Ave. Tickets cost $25 for grand tier seating, $35 for orchestra seating and $40 for pit seating. Tickets go on sale noon July 14 through Zoellner's website.

Stop Making Sense, directed by Jonathan Demme, was filmed during the Talking Heads' three-night stand at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Utilizing innovative camera techniques, the concert film features the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band performing such hits as "Psycho Killer," "Burning Down the House," "Life During Wartime" and their take on Al Green's "Take Me to the River."

Start Making Sense singer Jon Braun promises a "once in a lifetime" concert experience for fans. "We're very excited to be recreating Stop Making Sense in a live setting. Widely regarded as one of the best concert films of all-time. It's going to be quite a challenge, but we've been wanting to do this for a long time."

Since their formation in 2009, Start Making Sense has become a popular draw throughout the Lehigh Valley for their dynamic, high-energy live show. In addition to performing at Musikfest, Start Making Sense has headlined Irving Plaza in New York City and Boston's Paradise Rock Club.

In 2009, Start Making Sense was joined on stage by former Talking Heads/Parliament Funkadelic keyboardist Bernie Worrell during the former's concert at Pearly Baker's Alehouse in Easton.
