Alternative rock band X Ambassadors will open Musikfest on Aug. 5 with a headlining performance on the Sands Steel Stage.
Tickets cost $39-$55. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, to ArtsQuest members and 10 a.m. May 6 to the public through musikfest.org and by calling 610-332-3378.
The group's 2015 debut album VHS spawned the singles "Renegades" and "Unsteady." X Ambassadors -- then called Ambassadors -- in 2011 performed at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks as part of the Nowadays indie music festival.
Musikfest will be held Aug. 5-14.
