Comedian John Hodgman, The Romantics join SteelStacks lineup

Comedian and best-selling author John Hodgman, New Wave hit-makers The Romantics, Fleetwood Mac tribute band Tusk and comedian Monroe Martin are the latest additions to ArtsQuest's 2016 performance lineup.

Hodgman is best known for his frequent appearances on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as well as the "Mac vs PC" commercials opposite actor Justin Long. In 2009, Hodgman was the headline speaker at the Radio and Television Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C. He performed in 2011 at Lehigh University's Zoellner Arts in Bethlehem.

The Romantics' rocketed to fame in 1979 on the strength of its hit single "What I Like About You." The band performed with Rick Springfield and Loverboy in September 2015 at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

Martin, a native of Philadelphia, has appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing as well as The Artie Lange Show.

Here are the performance dates and ticket prices:

  • 8 p.m. July 29, Musikfest Cafe: The Romantics; $27-$39
  • 8 p.m. Sept. 16, Fowler Blast Furnace Room: Monroe Martin; $19, $17.50 for ArtsQuest members
  • 8 p.m. Nov. 11, Musikfest Cafe: Tusk; $25
  • 8 p.m. Nov. 17, Musikfest Cafe: John Hodgman; $35-$39

Tickets for all four shows go on sale May 31 to ArtsQuest members, June 3 to the public through steelstacks.org and by calling 610-332-3378.
