For Bethlehem's Paul Knakk, his "Boots" were made for grooving.

The singer-songwriter earlier this week released the official music video for his new single "Boots." The video was filmed at the Lynnville Hotel in Lynn Township, Lehigh County.

"Boots" -- a muscular, country-rock boogie anchored by a scorching lead guitar riff -- will be featured on Knakk's new album Rebel With a Cause, due out Wednesday. The song was inspired, Knakk says, by the night he met his girlfriend.

On June 24, Knakk will celebrate the release of the new album with a concert at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Tickets for the show cost $10 in advance, $12 at the door.

Knakk has become a familiar face in the Lehigh Valley independent music circuit, both as a solo artist and as front-man for the band Harkland. In February 2014, Knakk opened for 3 Doors Down at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center.
