SouthSide Film Festival 2016: Complete schedule of screenings, events

The 13th annual SouthSide Film Festival, starting Tuesday, June 14, will bring the power of independent film to Bethlehem.

The festival runs through Saturday, June 18, in SouthSide Bethlehem. Highlights include the 2015 independent comedic drama Growing Up Smith and the Martin Guitar documentary short The Ballad of the Dreadnought.

Tickets cost $10 for Tuesday's opening reception and screening, as well as the closing night party and for screenings at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. Screenings at Lehigh University's Sinclair Auditorium and Victory Firehouse cost $5 each. All-access passes cost $50, $40 for students and seniors.

Tickets can be purchased at Deja Brew, 101 W. Fourth St., and Cleo's, 21 E. Third St.

Tuesday

  • 8 p.m. Opening reception and screening of Growing Up Smith, Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, 321 E. Third St.
