State Theatre announces 90th season, including Christopher Lloyd, Roseanne Cash and 'RENT'

The State Theatre will celebrate its historic 90th season with appearances by singer and founding Beach Boys member Brian Wilson, country music singer Rosanne Cash, "Back to the Future with Christopher Lloyd," magician duo Penn & Teller and "RENT 20th Anniversary Tour."

Additional 2016-17 highlights include actress-singer Patti LuPone, the return of Movies at the Mill and "Dancing with the Lehigh Valley Stars" and "Wicked Divas featuring Emily Rozek and Dee Roscioli." The new season was announced Wednesday in a news release.

Season tickets go on sale Aug. 3 to State Theatre members. Tickets for members will be available that day starting 6 a.m. at the box office, and noon online at statetheatre.org. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Aug. 17 to the public. There is a 10-ticket limit, per performance, per member.

Tickets for previously announced shows by Wilson, Gill, Penn & Teller and Johnny Mathis are on sale.
