Rob Zombie scares up return to Bethlehem

July 27, 2016

Rob Zombie is firing up his Dragula for another trip to Bethlehem.

The heavy-metal singer will return 8 p.m. Sept. 15 to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, officials announced Monday in a news release. Zombie previously headlined Sands in 2013.

Tickets cost $45 and $33.75 (with special 4-Pack Savings) in advance and $50 at the door.

Zombie is best known for such solo hits as "Dragula," "Living Dead Girl" and "Feel So Numb." Prior to launching his successful solo career, Zombie fronted heavy-metal band White Zombie. White Zombie scored a hit with the single "More Than Human."

In addition to his work as a singer, Zombie has directed the films House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects and The Lords of Salem. Zombie was also behind the lens for the 2007 Halloween remake and its sequel, Halloween II. His latest film project, 31, opens Sept. 16.

Sands officials also announced in the release the return of singer Engelbert Humperdinck on Oct. 15. Humperdinck last performed at Sands in 2012.

Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets cost $35-$55.

Tickets for both shows go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, through ticketmaster.com, and sandseventcenter.com; by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the box office, 77 Sands Blvd.
