Alternative rock band Brand New will headline Allentown's PPL Center on Nov. 11, officials announced Wednesday in a news release.

The group will be getting support on their upcoming fall tour from opening acts The Front Bottoms and Modern Baseball. Both acts are slated to perform in Allentown.

Show time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets, which cost $29.50-$42.50, go on sale noon Friday, Aug. 5, through pplcenter.com.

The Long Island natives' fourth studio album, 2009's Daisy, reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart and is Brand New's highest-charting album to date. Their 2006 single "Jesus" peaked at No. 30 on the Alternative Songs chart.

Brand New in July released the EP 3 Demos, Reworked. Later that month, the band released the single "Mene" as a 7-inch vinyl single, with the previously unreleased song "Out of Range" as its B-side.

The group released the single "I Am a Nightmare" in May.
