G. Willow Wilson, the fan-favorite writer of Marvel Comics' "Ms. Marvel" and co-creator of the book's title character, and veteran artist Adam Kubert have joined an already impressive lineup for the 2018 Phillipsburg Comic Con.

The convention will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Phillipsburg High School in Lopatcong Township. Admission costs $5; free admission for children ages 10 and younger, if accompanied by a paid adult.

Wilson has been receiving praise for her critically-acclaimed run on "Ms. Marvel," which started with the release of "Ms. Marvel" No. 1 in April 2014. The series stars a Muslim-American teenager named Kamala Khan who has shapeshifting abilities and inherits the Ms. Marvel moniker from her predecessor, Carol Danvers (who has since gone by the codename Captain Marvel).

Prior to joining Marvel, Wilson released her first graphic novel, "Cairo," in 2007. The book was based on Wilson's own experiences living in Egypt. She has also written the Vertigo series "Air" and "Vixen: Return of the Lion" for DC Comics.

Kubert's tenure in the industry includes runs on such titles as "Ultimate Fantastic Four," "Ultimate X-Men," "Weapon X," "Wolverine," "The Incredible Hulk," and "Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man." He is the brother of artist Andy Kubert and son of influential comic book artist Joe Kubert. (Joe Kubert died in 2012.) Adam Kubert, who appeared at the first Phillipsburg Comic Con in 2015, is an instructor at the The Kubert School in Dover, New Jersey.
