In honor of tonight's 89th Academy Awards, I recently sat down with ArtsQuest programming director Ryan Hill and local film buff/former "McEvoy on Movies" critic Colin McEvoy to get their thoughts and predictions for this evening's ceremony.

For those who prefer to watch the Oscars on the big screen, ArtsQuest's annual "Red Carpet Party" is tonight at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Festivities start at 6:30 p.m., kicking off with a simulcast of the Red Carpet arrivals and raffles for framed posters of this year's nominated films.

Tickets cost $35-$39.
