No strangers to the Lehigh Valley, singer Tony Bennett and Staind front-man Aaron Lewis will return in May to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

Both shows were announced in a news release.

Bennett is scheduled for 8 p.m. May 13. Tickets cost $79-$99.

Lewis will perform 8 p.m. May 26. Tickets cost $35-$55.

Bennett's career in music has seen him perform for 11 United States Presidents and rack up 19 Grammy Awards. In 1965, Bennett marched side-by-side with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma, Alabama, in support of civil rights, according to the release.

The 90-year-old "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" singer received a late-career mainstream resurgence in 2011 when Bennett released the album Duets II. The albums features Bennett performing with Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson, Queen Latifah and the late Amy Winehouse, among others. In 2014, Bennett re-teamed with Lady Gaga for the Grammy-winning album Cheek to Cheek.

He previously headlined Sands in May 2016. (Bennett performed in May 2015 at the State Theatre in Easton.)

Lewis has released solo albums: 2012's The Road and 2016's Sinner. As the voice of heavy-metal band Staind, Lewis can be heard on the hits "Outside," "It's Been Awhile," "So Far Away" and "For You." Staind's 2001 album Break the Cycle has been certified five-time platinum.

Lewis previously performed at Sands in February 2016.

Tickets for Bennett and Lewis go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through ticketmaster.com and sandseventcenter.com. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 800-745-3000 and at the box office, 77 Sands Blvd.
