Bethlehem bluegrass band Serene Green headed to Scranton for Susquehanna Breakdown festival

Bluegrass outfit Cabinet's fifth annual Susquehanna Breakdown folk festival in Scranton will have Lehigh Valley representation this year in the form of Bethlehem's Serene Green.

The lineup, which was revealed Tuesday, is rounded out by Keller WilliamsGreensky Bluegrass, The Wood Brothers, Turkuaz, Billy Strings, Kitchen Dwellers, Driftwood, And the Moneynotes, Organ Freeman, Graham & Mazer Duo, The Dishonest Fiddlers, Tom Hamilton's Breakdown All-Stars and Cabinet. 

Last March, Serene Green took home the Lehigh Valley Music Award for Outstanding Bluegrass Fusion Band of 2015. The quartet is made up of guitarist Michael Johnson, mandolin player Quentin Fisher, bassist Shane McGeehan and banjoist Steve Leonard. . 

Susquehanna Breakdown will take place May 19 and 20 at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain. The event features a mix of Americana, folk, bluegrass, funk and jam acts. 

Gates open 4 p.m. May 19 and 10 a.m. May 20. 

Two-day general admission passes cost $40. VIP passes are available
