Comedians from the Lehigh Valley and New York will come together this spring in Bethlehem to help a local man's fight against cancer.

"Comedy Show for Eric Gubich" will take place 7 p.m. April 2 at the Charles A. Brown Ice House, 56 River St.

Tickets cost $20.

Gubich, of Bethlehem, was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a very rare type of bone cancer also found in soft tissue, according to a news release. He was 19-years-old.

Twelve years later, in late 2016, Gubich was given the news that x-rays discovered two previously unseen tumors on his lungs. He has since been put on a 9-12-month plan of chemotherapy and future surgery.

The evening will feature comedian Tyler Rothrock, a native of Nazareth. The rest of the lineup is still being finalized.

There will will also be several raffle prizes throughout the night, including gift cards to area restaurants and gift baskets.
