We are only halfway through May and It is already shaping up to be a big summer for comedian Tyler Rothrock.

The Nazareth native recently announced he will be recording his debut stand-up comedy album June 24 at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. The performances, which are scheduled for 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., will take place in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas.

Tickets cost $10, $9.50 for students and seniors and $9 for ArtsQuest members.

Rothrock will be joined by comedians Bryan Yang and Paul Spratt.

The album will mark the second such recording at SteelStacks. Lopatcong Township-based comedian Glen Tickle also recorded his 2016 debut comedy album, Yes Really, at SteelStacks. Yes, Really debuted at No. 13 on Billboard's Comedy Albums chart.

Rothrock's album will be released through Tickle's Circus Trapeze Records. A release date for the album has not been announced.

In August, Rothrock will host the second annual LehighValleyWithLove ComedyPlatz at the Charles A. Brown Ice House in Bethlehem. This year's event, formerly known as the LehighValleyWithLove Comedy Fest, is scheduled for Aug. 11 and 12 during ArtsQuest's Musikfest celebration. (Rothrock is a co-creator of ComedyPlatz.)
