Bethlehem's favorite surf rockers are extending their summer reunion for a few more splashes in the eastern seaboard.

Great White Caps have announced additional tour dates for the tri-state area, including an Aug. 25 stop at The Funhouse in Bethlehem.

The Bethlehem show is in addition their previously announced Aug. 26 performance at the Asbury Park Surf Music Festival. The quartet will also perform Aug. 24 at the Brooklyn Bowl in New York and Aug. 27 at The Asbury Hotel in Asbury Park. The Brooklyn Bowl and Asbury Park Hotel concerts will feature the band playing during a screening of the 1991 Keanu Reeves-Patrick Swayze cult classic Point Break.

Great White Caps consists of vocalist-guitarist Ian "Montag the Magnificent" Hansson, guitarist Jesse "Warchild" Braun, bassist Nick "Sylvester Seaweed" Pokrivchak and drummer-vocalist Jon "Johnny Utah" Braun.

During their tenure together, the Great White Caps were a popular draw in the Lehigh Valley before disbanding in 2014. The band released two full-length albums in that time: Sting of Death and Screech Beach. The latter effort includes the single "Pacifico."

Great White Caps released the single, "I'm Gonna Get Drunk for Christmas," in 2011. The group opened for influential surf rock band The Ventures in 2011 at Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem.
