A handful of Lehigh Valley comedians will turn up the heat Thursday night at SteelStacks when they stick the verbal skewers in to fellow funnyman Glen Tickle.
"The Roast of Glen Tickle" is schedule for 8 p.m. at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem. The show will take place inside the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas.
Tickets cost $9-$10. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Spondylitis Association of America.
The dias will feature Steven Bost, Kirk Griffiths, Dan Maher, Andy Malafarina, Emily Poche, Tyler Rothrock and Richie Warmkessel, plus "guest appearances by Pat Janssen and Ben Youngerman," touts SteelStacks' website. Leading the proceedings will be roastmaster Jason J. Brown.
Tickle released his debut standup comedy album, (Yes Really), in August 2016 through his Circus Trapeze Records label. Yes, Really, debuted at No. 13 on Billboard's Comedy Albums chart.
In addition to hosting the "Nerd Nite Bethlehem" series, the Lopatcong Township resident has spent a decade performing throughout the greater Lehigh Valley and New York City.
Tickle's will release Rothrock's forthcoming debut album through Circus Trapeze Records, which, like Tickle's (Yes Really), was recorded live at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks. Brown recently announced that his debut effort will be recorded Oct. 7 at SteelStacks and will also be released via Circus Trapeze Records.
