Comedian Liz Russo will return Saturday as emcee of the sixth annual free outdoor comedy show in downtown Easton.
The outdoor event is set for 8 p.m. at Riverside Park. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved a block over to the Grand Eastonian Hotel, 140 Northampton St.
In addition to food and drink vendors, the evening will feature a headlining performance by comedian and columnist Kevin Downey Jr.
Downey regularly performs in Las Vegas and Atlantic City and can be heard on Sirius and XM Satellite Radio and on The Bob and Tom Show. The Detroit native has also appeared on Comedy Central, as well as Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
I recently caught up with Russo, a native of Easton, to discuss what she has in store for this weekend's show.
