Five things to do this weekend in the Lehigh Valley

Nothing to see, nowhere to go this weekend? Let me help you with that. Here are five things to do this weekend in the Lehigh Valley:

1.) Star attraction

Easton's Black & Blue hosts its "Force Friday Cantina Party," starting 4 o'clock today. Celebrate the release Star Wars: The Force Awakens by enjoying in a cold brew with a Stormtrooper.

2.) High time

Experimental rock band The Brothers Give Me a High Five return 10 o'clock tonight to Porters' Pub in Easton. Support local music.

3.) Dude

Improv comedy troupe ManDudeBro performs 10:30 tonight on the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas stage, inside the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Let Dan Maher, Jon Lunger, Matt Candio and Evan Stutts tickle your funny bone. Tickets cost $4-$6. Information: steelstacks.org

4.) Charity Christmas toss

After a two-year hiatus, the Bethlehem Christmas Toss for Charity returns 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, to Mike's More Miles Automotive in Bethlehem. Watch Mike's More Miles Automotive employees take on challengers Pep Boys Auto Service & Tire. Then, for five bucks, you can throw a Christmas tree and, in doing so, help support Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley. Turning Point provides shelter and support services in Northampton and Lehigh counties for victims of domestic abuse. Those with the furthest throws will receive gift cards from ArtsQuest and Bethlehem Brew Works.

5.) Underground deals

The Underground Lair collectible store is closing its doors for good on Dec. 31. Before they close up shop, the store is offering discounts on its entire inventory of action figures, toys and other collectibles. Grab 'em while you can!
