August 31, 2015

Country music singer Jennifer Nettles will perform 8 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, officials announced Monday in a news release.

Tickets, which cost $49.50-$69.50, go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, through ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-745-3000 and at the Sands box office, 77 Sands Blvd., Bethlehem.

The Bethlehem date is the only Pennsylvania stop booked for Nettles' Playing With Fire Tour, according to the release. The show will feature opening acts Brandy Clark and Ryan Kinder.

Nettles is best known as the lead singer of country music duo Sugarland, with singer Kristian Bush. Sugarland's popular songs include "All I Want to Do," "It Happens" and "Stuck Like Glue," among others. As a solo artist, Nettles' hits include the single "That Girl." She appears on the 2006 Bon Jovi single "Who Says You Can't Go Home."

She released her debut solo album, That Girl, in January 2014, with the follow-up expected to drop in 2016. Nettles in signed to the label Big Machine Label Group, which is also home to Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Steven Tyler and The Band Perry.

Nettles' acting credits include the upcoming Dolly Parton made-for-television biopic Coat of Many Colors, in which she portrays Parton's mother.
