Def Leppard reschedules tour dates, including Allentown show

February 23, 2016

Def Leppard has rescheduled the remaining dates on its winter tour. The band will now perform May 17 at the PPL Center in Allentown and will be getting support from classic rockers REO Speedwagon and Tesla.

Show time is 7 p.m.

Tickets start at $47.20. Tickets purchased for the original Feb. 17 date will be honored on May 17.

Earlier this month, Def Leppard announced they would be postponing the tour due to illness in the band. Drummer Rick Allen tweeted that singer Joe Elliott, per a doctors' orders, was told to rest his voice for a month.

Def Leppard headlined the Great Allentown Fair in 1983, 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2015. In 1981, they performed at Lehigh University's Stabler Arena in Bethlehem.

Their hits include "Pour Some Sugar on Me," "Photograph," "Animal," "Rock of Ages" and "Foolin."
