'Batman v Superman,' 'Deadpool' double-feature this weekend at Becky's Drive-In

March 22, 2016

Comic book fans this weekend will have the opportunity to visually feast on more than four hours of big screen action at Becky's Drive-In Theatre.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Deadpool will be shown back-to-back Friday at the Lehigh Township theater. The former will be shown at 7:45 p.m., followed by Deadpool at 10:30 p.m.

Batman v Superman is the second entry in Warner Bros. expanding DC Cinematic Universe and picks up after the events of 2013's Man of Steel. The film, directed by Zack Snyder, stars Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. The film will also feature cameos from future Justice League members Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller).

Since being released in mid-February, Deadpool -- which stars Ryan Reynolds as wise-cracking mutant mercenary Wade Wilson -- has earned more than $340 million at the box office.
