Sister Hazel, The Yardbirds to land in Bethlehem

Rock band Sister Hazel, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Yardbirds and saxophonist Maceo Parker will perform this fall at Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem.

The three shows were announced Wednesday in a news release.

Sister Hazel is best known for their 1997 radio hit "All for You." They are scheduled for 8 p.m. Sept. 8. Tickets cost $20-$30.

English blues rockers The Yardbirds are set for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6. Tickets cost $29-$39. The band soared to success in the late 1960s on the strength of such songs as "Heart Full of Soul" and "Over Under Sideways Down."

The band also launched the careers of guitar icons Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck, each of whom were members of The Yardbirds at various points in the band's initial run from 1963 to 1968.

Parker -- who will perform 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 -- rose to fame working with James Brown as a soloist. Additionally, he has recorded with Prince, Dave Matthews Band and James Taylor, among others. Tickets for Parker's concert cost $34-$44.

Tickets for all three shows go on sale 10 July 12 to ArtsQuest members, 10 a.m. July 15 o the public through steelstacks.org nd by calling 610-332-3378.
