Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire bringing tour to Allentown

Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire on April 10 will bring their Heart and Soul Tour 2.0 to the PPL Center in Allentown, officials announced Thursday in a news release.

Tickets go on sale noon Nov. 20 through pplcenter.com and at the box office, 701 Hamilton St. Ticket prices were not included in the release.

Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire have collectively sold more than 200 million albums and earned 20 Grammy Award nominations, according to the release. Chicago's hits include "25 or 6 to 4," "Beginnings," "Saturday in the Park," "Color My World" and "If You Leave Me Now," among others. Earth, Wind & Fire is best known for such songs as "Shining Star," "Sing a Song" and "After the Love Has Gone."

Both acts headlined the 2009 Great Allentown Fair. Additionally, Earth, Wind & Fire performed in 2008 during Bethlehem's Musikfest celebration and in June 2014 at the neighboring Sands Bethlehem Event Center. Chicago headlined Sands in May 2013.
