Ben Folds is coming to Bethlehem.

Folds is the first act announced for ArtsQuest's 2016 Yuengling Summer Concert Series. The concert will take place 7:30 p.m. July 14 on the outdoor Levitt Pavilion stage at the SteelStacks complex.

Tickets cost $35 in advance, $39 at the door. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Feb. 9 to ArtsQuest members and 10 a.m. Feb. 12 to the public. Tickets can be purchased at steelstacks.org and by calling 610-332-3378.

Folds first tasted mainstream success as frontman for Ben Folds Five, whose 1997 studio album Whatever and Ever Amen spawned the hit single "Brick." As a solo artist, Folds scored a hit in 2001 with the song "Rockin the Suburbs," from the album of the same name. His most recent solo effort is 2008's Way to Normal.

In September, Folds released the album So There -- a collaboration with the yMusic Ensemble. Folds will be joined by the yMusic Ensemble during his performance in Bethlehem.

Alternative rock band Modest Mouse headlined the Yuengling Summer Concert series in 2014. The band Cake headlined in 2015.
